Helen Hayes Awards, Standing Ovation Awards (Kennedy Center), and Hispanic Heritage Awards (aired on PBS).\u00a0He is a professor of musical theatre at The New Studio on Broadway at NYU\/Tisch, where he has directed <em>Love Somebody Now, Damn Yankees, The Drowsy Chaperone, Urinetown, Cry Baby, and Disaster, <\/em>and is the Theatre Minor Coordinator and professor of Lyric Theatre at The College of New Jersey.\u00a0 Nathan has directed numerous staged concerts for The American Pops Orchestra, Fairfax Symphony, and West Virginia Symphony.\u00a0 Assisting credits include <em>Aladdin<\/em>\u00a0(Broadway), and <em>Relatively Speaking <\/em>(Broadway). \u00a0Nathan is the founder and artistic director of Recreational Arts, a non-profit performing arts organization with
